Honestly, I’ve got mixed feelings. A 100% tariff on foreign-made films sounds tough, but in today’s global industry, that line is blurry. A lot of these films are U.S.-funded and globally produced. Moves like this could hurt us more than help.

Building back America's strength isn't just about words or deals behind closed doors. It's about showing our allies and the world that we still stand for something real. Every time we hesitate or fumble, others are more than ready to fill the gap.
Sullivan: "When you see the car start careening toward the cliff, you've gotta say something. What I've seen in less than 100 days is terrible damage to America's credibility and trust with our allies & terrible damage to America's appeal... most of all what I've seen is China reaping the benefits."

This powerful country is going through a complicated time. You can feel the tension, the uncertainty, and the quiet hope for something better. History is being written in ways we do not fully understand. We need clarity, resilience, and kindness to face every choice ahead.

Trump’s 145% tariff on China was meant to protect U.S. manufacturing, but like Paul Krugman said, “Tariffs are taxes, and those taxes ultimately fall on consumers.” Even if he’s planning to cut them now, it’s still unclear how much it’ll actually help — but hey, it’s a start.
Trump dials back tariff talk; Musk to focus on Tesla's slumping sales
President Donald Trump is hinting that he may reverse course on his massive 145% tariff on China, saying, "It'll come down substantially but it won't be zero." It comes as Elon Musk is now refocusing ...

African Elephants are my favorite land animal species, by far. During yesterday’s earthquake, my babies at the San Diego Zoo reacted to the quake, immediately protective of their most-vulnerable Community members. Humans could learn SO much from these beauties, if we’d just humble ourselves. 🐘🐘
