Ich habe noch nicht mit Bastei gearbeitet, aber mit vielen anderen Publikumsverlagen, bin auch selbst Mitglied im VdÜ. Von daher kein Interesse an Konflikten. Aber die Eindrücke und Forderungen, wie im Artikel beschrieben, decken sich wirklich überhaupt nicht mit meinen Erfahrungen.

That was my impression, too. I'm not a journalist, but from the perspective of e.g. academic writing, a quote or citation like this seems legit to me.

I'm perplexed how many newspapers repeat the claim the edit was "misleading". Was it, though? This leaves the general impression that the BBC screwed up. But did it?
