I want the left to be as desirable to voters as we think we are. To be that, we have to break ties with the right completely. The old Dem guard cannot seem to abandon their Republican friends — despite their Republican friends having abandoned them.

We need to break ties with them, too.

Some keep popping in to tell me “now is not the time to go after do-nothing Democrats” as if they’re guns and we witnessed a shooting — but blah blah blah elsewhere. Heard it for decades. I’m going full throttle into fixing our party while we’re at our lowest point. You’re not changing my mind.
