A starchy construct of whimsy ✨

Colorfully upsetting—but in a fun way

Will buy your kids musical instruments.

Oatmeal aficionado

Obviously parody, don’t take me seriously

In love with Kermit and Bert, but will cut you

Lmfaooooo. I don’t care that much about baseball to have strong feelings one way or another. Now basketball, is another story

Nah. As long as it’s not the Red Sox, I’m good.

My job is bed.

I’m very mean. 😢

The Giants. See? I have terrible taste.
January 15, 2026 at 5:02 AM
I am, actually. Like really fun. 😎

It’s a very petty thing for me. I’m a psycho about sports.

We can’t ship all the red hat wearing people off to Timbuktu. They are citizens and though we may find them repugnant in every way, we still have to find a way to reach them. Hate will only make more hate. We don’t have to descend to their levels or give up our integrity to make inroads.

I don’t love the choices that I have been presented with for elected leaders, but I know enough to vote for the best scenario. We can’t burn everything down to the ground when we don’t get our way. That’s what the current regime does. We are in dark times, no question.

Democracy is not about everyone agreeing. That’s not realistic, especially if you have a wide variety of opinions and experiences. That kind of diversity of thought helps to represent the whole. Compromise is always necessary, and it’s not easy.

Right now, Trump and co are going out of their way to prosecute (or worse)anyone who dares to stand up against their constant abuse of everything this country is supposed to represent. If someone is the wrong race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or station, they are thrown under the bus.

They were throwing a Hail Mary of a kitchen sink at the electorate in the hopes that disaster could be averted. Sadly, their efforts failed, but there’s a lot that we can learn from them. If we want to clean up this world, we have to work together. We don’t get to decide (within reason) who can join

Their individual policies may not be what we wish, but I can also see that there were only bad options. But that’s actually not altogether true. There was an unequivocal moral imperative that was as black and white as it gets. Good and evil may not always be so, but in this case, it was.

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend,” applies here, but it’s more than that. It was two people who were deeply unpopular trying to do the right thing for the right reasons. They combined forces to prevent what we have now.

Especially since it was in the pursuit of ensuring Trump wasn’t re-elected. Their politics were far apart (not as far as I would have personally liked, but I digress) but they came together for the bigger picture. They put the country before politics.

When the country is on the verge of civil war, when people are so divided that families and neighborhoods are at odds, it’s a powder keg waiting to blow. Whether we like it or not, people do look to our leaders to set the standard all the way from the top down. That representation matters.

BAIT! 🤡
I hope the Miami Dolphins fail in every single one of their pursuits. Even more, I hope that they always blow leads in the second half. Forget games that are close. I want humiliating blow-outs of defeat and games they lose where the wins are all but assured.

Yep, exactly. That, and it’s helped my writing immensely. I have stopped trying to be so perfect and let it come out like it wants to. It’s messy, but people think messily. It’s a balance.

You guys could even do a fun family craft project! Everyone could design and decorate their own tombstones! 🥹

Nothing could be worth pretending to justify their existence.

I am a notoriously anal retentive control freak when it comes to writing, but I’ve learned to unclench once in a while. 😅
