I saw Frankenstein in 35mm at the Hollywood Theater here in Portland last weekend - it was so sincere and earnest and human and GORGEOUS, I couldn’t possibly recommend it enough. I’m a huge @realgdt.bsky.social film fan but this is easily my favourite ♥️

Could be missing something, but as far as I’ve seen there is one place to play Silksong at PAX and it’s a single booth in the Nintendo Switch 2 zone with earths least assuming sign. Love it

Mashina is very quickly becoming one my favourite things I’ve played this year! Everything in the game is physically handmade which gives it such a cozy, special, DIY feel when you see it in motion. Gameplay is tons of fun too, it reminds me of making weird little tunnels along the beach as a kid

From what I can tell it’s basically a service to handle live service components for games. From the Nintendo page, looks like they’re using it for player analytics in the demo but it won’t be part of the game at release

Weird set this week, Stepford Wives was AMAZING, can’t believe how people talk about this movie (ie the “twist”) given everything it actually has going on. Middle two were fine, and Meet the Feebles is … I mean it’s insane there’s only ~10 years between this and LotR for Jackson.

Oh my god the saga got worse - when we went to dispose of the poor thing we found a dead pigeon beside our bins 😭 and later that evening this SUSPECT returned to the exact scene of the original crime!!!
