Second that. There’s a special kind of calm when a hot place finally cools down. Everything slows a little. Going out suddenly feels good again. Did you just finish watching a tennis match or did you arrive too early? 😀

I wouldn't consider it a good wish.

But when you go participate in offline communities, the experience is totally different. I think social media should be disrupted.

GPT's answer: War is bad, but most expats don’t feel it. Thais and Cambodians see it as old tension, not looming doom. Life goes on.

Would love to understand human perspective.

War is always bad, but it's barely on any expat's mind. Am I living in an expat buble? How about Thais & Cambodians people? Would love to understand their side of things.

The only problem is "usage based billing" is too expensive.

With my $20 Google AI plan, I never hit the limit. With $20 Claude code, I was hitting the limit. So I use both now.

For me, shipping matters products matter more than how they are working under the hood. As long as output is good enough.

What's your worry? I feel internet can be a lonely place, unless you happen to meet/engage with like minded folks. Most people prefer to engage offline. There are a lot of thriving community on sites like Meetup. Didn't knew about `AT Protocol`, so thanks!

I think the cure is to start building micro-saas platforms. Use the best tool for the job, be it Rust or otherwise. If it takes off, good, otherwise, move on.

Well, if you scratch your own itch[1], then it's hard to build crappy products.
