What Robert Jenrick fails to mention is that a Tory Govt asked David Lammy to look into the unequal treatment Black/brown communities receive in the criminal legal system
Sentencing decisions needed greater scrutiny, we were told, and Pre-Sentence reports were one way of countering unequal treatment
