As for Hulk Hogan, he was always the villain. But he was a great example of how villains are sold as heroes, to us impressionable kids. He was a gutter racist, an enemy of journalism, a great talker and showman who couldnt wrestle, and an American hot dog-coloured fraud. He was a warning, in a way.
