- plain cardboard (though cut out any glued sections, cardboard glue isn't safe if ingested)
- cross-stitch/embroidery (makes for good ornaments for the tree)

My school district has installed air purifiers in every classroom, and I have noticed a sharp decline in sickness when they are running.
