I had a hard moment at work yesterday, and when I went for a walk to cool my head I heard, found, and identified a little bird. The stress just melted as I focused my attention on finding who was doing that chirping.

Is there a support group for DMs who know they need to prep but feel anxious and overwhelmed into doing nothing until the night before game day? Asking for a friend 😊

Finished the BG3 epilogue, and honestly just so delighted. My favorite part (no spoilers), even before there was the epilogue is the Words From The Team section of the credits 😭 there’s so much love and affection and gratitude and delightful little inside jokes

Found my way back to the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack today - while the show ended poorly, it was one hell of a ride and the composer Bear McCreary absolutely nailed the music. I’m gonna rock out to scifi drums for the the next few days, and add the stuff to my D&D prep focus playlist.

I need to do some grocery shopping then get some time in at the pottery, but I think I’ll lay here for a bit instead. Spent the past two days at oSTEM (which was pretty dang amazing) and I’m beat.

Went birding at the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve this morning 😊 there was a guide who taught us all about what was out there (flora, fauna, etc), including the roosting location of a barn owl. After the official walk ended, I went back and managed to spot the sleepy friend!
