I was raised similarly and it was the same for my siblings and I. Even lost a brother to suicide during the realization phase. Of course, my parents and grandparents have no fucking clue…

As a hyperlexic 2000s kid, I was given Interstellar Pig by William Sleator as my first sci-fi book and never touched the genre again. 😅

Walgreens and cvs does them! I was never questioned on it even though I’m not in the age range recommended. 🤷🏼

1. Toddlers cry over anything and everything. Just ask mine.

2. My toddler looks cool as hell in her Flo child’s mask. And because we made it cool and associated with fun things, she’s now usually excited to wear her “max”. She cries when we take it off. Maybe I should send him that picture…

This was my literal experience last week trying to get (and being denied) my daughters Covid booster as well as advanced second MMR dose. 😮‍💨

Oh so it’s in addition to your OTC antihistamines?? I’ll add to my notes of things to try!

Interesting! Thanks for sharing! I’m taking OTC xyzal for an H1. Have you tried OTC H1 allergy meds to compare?
May 17, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Yes! It tends to help with MCAS type symptoms and a lot of LC either causes MCAS or is similar. I’m one of those prediabetic ones and can’t get it covered by insurance. I was also hoping it’d help me with my LC and MCAS… but not for $1600/mo 😮‍💨

Yes I’m pre diabetic and they would not approve. We tried to get it through the weight loss reason and they won’t cover any medications. Only offer diet and exercise options. Like, I wouldn’t be here if those worked bro. 🙄
