Pretty much my first thought once I heard the news.

And it seems he will do anything, including inciting a war in Venezuela, to distract us from it.

As someone who once dealt with rental videocassettes, I can report that three seconds of breast reveal was fuzzed and worn out on every single copy I ever checked out. People used to actually complain about it. Well, ok, *men* used to complain… 😉

Yes but, faced with these Loreleis, what man can moralize?

This is a reality show presidency and it’s high time Democrats stop writing those strongly worded letters and start competing for ratings.

I think I lot of people are still new to Bluesky and don’t yet entirely understand how it works - hence low growth and engagement. I know that I’m guilty of just fumbling around.

And, no, I don’t think people hate you, aside from those who live in Woolerton.. (ptui)

Fun, but I’m concerned about AI and photoshop making this couple even larger targets than they already are…

How did I ever acquire so many canned goods? I’ve been cleaning out my pantry and can’t imagine why I thought it necessary to buy so many cans of beans!

So was he carrying a lunch box or a ginger cat?

A simple question: There are literally tariffs on every country, even those solely populated by penguins - with one exception. Why is that?

Personally, I’d prefer to limit political discussions of this subject to that great eggplant parmesan I once enjoyed at a democratic fundraiser potluck. But, nevertheless, here we are… 😵‍💫

Beautifully said - and a good reminder to all of us. Thank you! ❤️

I get that completely, Marilyn. For me, at night, it’s BBC Radio 4 panel shows on YouTube. They’re a nice reminder that there are smart, witty, and well spoken people still out there, even if they are across the pond. Take care of yourself.

Appreciate that. I don’t hate that I have a solid moral compass, but it’s very debilitating to feel the nausea and dread that millions of us are experiencing right now.

Well, *that’ll* show him! 🙄

Holding up signs like hostages hoping to be rescued certainly sends a strong message. Makes for great TV, too. 🙄
March 6, 2025 at 12:15 AM
Damn straight. Holding up signs like hostages hoping to be noticed was a weak and ridiculous idea. What’s next? Tape over their mouths with “help” written on it? You’re leaders, dammit, at least try to LOOK like you can actually do something about this catastrophe! 🤬
March 5, 2025 at 8:25 PM
Democrats are acting like student body presidents, preparing solid rhetoric and good reasoning as they head toward a broken bottle bar fight. Ludicrous. 😡
March 4, 2025 at 9:40 PM
No! No one will care if you’re not there! Good trouble makes for good TV! Make some GD noise!
March 4, 2025 at 8:47 PM
Show up, get in good trouble, talk back, and confront the liar with his lies. If it’s good TV he craves, give it to him - repeatedly!
March 4, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Yes yes yes! No one watching will care if you’re not there! Optics, for God’s sake! Good trouble makes for good TV!

Podcast host Brian Glenn (who just happens to be dating Marjory Taylor Greene) was the clearly planted instigator in this badly scripted episode of the Z-grade reality series that the White House has now become. I sense that he views Gus at the Howler as a role model for responsible journalism. 🤬

I saw this today and found it inspiring. I hope you do, too.
