David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.

My first completed illustration of the year is a follow up to one of my most popular illustrations (linked below). This new one is titled "Fealty." 😁

We peer through ornate curtains at a king kneeling before a man in armor who stands before him. The king gazes up at the knight and is in the process of shrugging out of his ornate robes, which trail behind him. The knight cradles the king's face in one hand, and the king has a hand on the knight's armored leg.
