This is hilarious...remember when this story would have been The Sun's headline "Barmy Brussels Bureaucrats demand we stop calling Penguin bars 'chocolate'"

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Penguin and Club bars can no longer be described as chocolate
The rising cost of cocoa has led to the manufacturers changing their recipe.

This is an important point. Welfare spending is only marginally up on 2010 levels and almost entirely down to the pensions triple lock. Make sure you rebut any claims you see that welfare spend is out of control.
Welfare spending is 10.8% as a proportion of GDP and was 10% in 2001. (And the increase is nearly all pensions). Apparently it's now out of control. It's just absolutely bog standard right wing paper talking points.

This painting shows Sir Harry Harper with a favourite horse, Furiband, and an unnamed groom, c. 1774: could this be a portrait of "Jockey Jack"? I certainly hope so! #18c

Meta to pull political ads in EU countries

EU regulations are designed to address concerns around information manipulation and foreign interference in elections.

The UK should put similar restrictions in place. Or better still #RejoinEU and benefit from EU wide regulations

47 of the 151 men arrested in far right riots in Hull had been reported for prior domestic abuse.

One convicted for repeatedly punching an ex girlfriend. Plus, at least one rapey bastard.

NONE OF THIS IS ABOUT PROTECTING WOMEN.

It is male violence.

It is RACISM.
