The American Constitution only works if Congress and the Courts enforce it. If they don’t then the Constitution itself makes it lawful for citizens to organize as militia to bear arms in order to provide a “strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers".

What Trump has done to Venezuela today is no different to what Putin tried to do to Ukraine in 2022. The US military chiefs, officers and ranks who followed his/Hegseth’s orders are as guilty as the generals whose defence at Nuremberg was “we were only following orders”.

Is it time to start boycotting big American companies in response to Trump’s illegal actions? Amazon, Apple, CocaCola, Disney, Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Starbucks, Warner? I’ll freely admit I use all of them and it would be hard to do - is there even an alternative to Apple/Android for mobile OS?
