Not the guy from The Oatmeal. Movie nerd, theatre actor, MMA enthusiast, just an overall genuine curiosity.
Ain’t no fucking way this is supposed to be Will Byers 😂😂

Watching some Poirot tonight. For some reason murder mysteries are just the vibe for November.

Dang I haven’t been on here in FOREVER and so I feel like reintroductions are required!
I’m Matt. I love movies, mixed martial arts, have been acting in an amateur fashion for almost 15 years, have written one play, and am in the process of writing another and a short horror story!

Top Secret might very well be tied with Blazing Saddles as my favorite comedy of all time. RIP to the legend.
Jim Abrahams was part of the team that made AIRPLANE!, POLICE SQUAD!, TOP SECRET!, and NAKED GUN: FROM THE FILES OF POLICE SQUAD!, and one thing I know for sure... that dude loved exclamation points.

Comedy royalty. Forever. RIP.

What are some movies people are always surprised you haven’t seen? For me it’s Gremlins, Ghostbusters, and Hocus Pocus.

My five favorite films in no particular order. (Excluding the Lord of the Rings trilogy because that would be 60% of the list 😂)

1. The Master (2012)
2. The Witch (2015)
3. Cinema Paradiso (1988)
4. Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)
5. The Evil Dead (1981)

Just a little intro post also since I’m new here! Love movies, especially horror flicks. We can talk about that all day. I’ve been acting in theatre for almost 15 years, recently coming off a run in The Mousetrap! Also love Lord of the Rings (both books and films), MMA, reading a damn good book, etc

Everything I watched in the spookiest month of the year, October 2024! Missing, because I stupidly forgot to add them to the list, are the original Scream, and The Haunting of Bly Manor. What did you watch in October? 👻
