But it’s also conjunct Mercury in Ultrasuede ... I mean, Gatorade ... I mean, Retrograde. So there are some big ideas and possibilities in the aether, but they’re not ready to be articulated or acted on quite yet.

Scorpio is subtle, but over time, a small seed planted here can go deep, intense, and powerful. This New Moon is aligned well with a lot of heavy-hitter outer planets: Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, Jupiter in Cancer, and Pluto in Aquarius.

Though typically a New Moon is a good time for new beginnings and intentions, many astrologers don’t work with the Scorpio New Moon, as the Moon is in its Fall in this sign. But this New Moon may be an excellent time for one of my favorite things: Slight Shifts of Imagination.

The second thing we work on is what feels generative. If you are working with an unboundaried person, you can't necessarily fix that. But you can direct the conversation to what feels generative, what builds the MORE that each team member really feels good about.

Organizers try to show their love by doing for the community. But grief is also love, love that recognizes endings, limitations, and things that can no longer be. Working with grief can lead us to deeper relationship.

When I work with clients on this, there are a couple of things we focus on. The first is grief. Often organizers are moving so fast they haven't let themselves grieve.

Burned out and unboundaried organizers find themselves making serious mistakes and blowing up relationships without constructive conflict resolution.

It can become a trap that we often see among community organizers. There's so much work and it's never enough. Folks who haven't reckoned with that get in over their heads.
