i wish every book came with the tab on a journal that holds your pen. i want to underline and annotate in every book i read and forever return to my favorite parts.

i just want to leave this here:

you’re not “failing” — you’ve been surviving under emotional and financial pressure that would collapse anyone’s system

i love the colder weather coming in because there are very few things i’m more content doing than bed rotting and studying or reading #lifelongstudent

Are they finally catching on to his eternal grifting and gaslighting?

the coaching/wellness community loves to pin everyone against each other. more than half of the coaching content i see on threads is people putting themselves on pedestals like their methods & beliefs are the only way, + putting others down. that’s not rooted in truth, love, or even good marketing.

I hate that in order to be successful in this world you have to turn yourself into a commodity

I created a free resource library to collect guides and materials I make to help people with anxiety, burnout, and emotional flooding. I will continue adding to it and I hope you find it helpful! stan.store/radiantpaths...

TW: self harm recovery

I'll always deeply appreciate learning about cutting in my intro to counseling class and my professor's conviction and compassion. All I'd ever heard about it were judgements that didn't explain my behavior at all. Now knowing I'm neurodivergent brings a lot of context too.

I always feel pressure to share something soooo original it's borderline controversial and I think that's a weird form of my perfectionism.
But I'm here to tell you (and me) that being just plain old you is always worthwhile.

I don't know who needs to hear this but start taking your nervous system health seriously

I am the worst about writing online. However, bsky is the only place I have the handle I want. Yay me for jumping on this. My writing issue is affecting all aspects of my business. Like, what does a homebody with disorganized thoughts write in a substack or email list? 🥲

Top 3 struggles of my experience as neurodivergent:
1. Not being able to fit in really anywhere, I’m not great at masking
2. Invasive and chronic feelings of shame, confusion, and danger
3. Lack of support and understanding from family or society

If you resonate with this, let’s be friends.

Religion causes more problems than it cures.

Spirituality heals the soul.

Religion without spirituality is a grift.

If your church lacks empathy for the poor, then it isn't a church, it's a social club.

Good pastors shouldn't always tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear.

Red light therapy is widely known for its physical benefits such as reducing inflammation, but it also has profound spiritual benefits. For instance, it resonates with the #rootchakra & #lifeforce 📖❤️✨

self compassion is a huge part of healing, in several ways. actionable steps:
1. believe your experience as true &
2. it wasn’t your fault
3. you did the best you could at the time, and it’s possible your survival relied on that.
4. you can choose to heal or be different than what you’ve learned.

When we operate out of ego, we must remember this is a ~preservation~ reaction and we can choose differently because we are not in danger of abuse anymore. We are not helpless children.

From a spiritual perspective, self-sabotage can be viewed as a manifestation of deep-seeded trauma, fear of rejection, or a disconnect from one's true self; often stemming from negative self-beliefs that prevent individuals from fully embracing their higher selves.
