I heard the British age verification guy on the radio talking about how they can reasonably accurately assess age by getting you to hold your hand in front of the webcam. Something about muscular development or something. Not sure if it’s complete mumbo jumbo but sounded scientifically plausible.

If using windows 7 on some systems please go into device manager and for usb devices with the power management tab in properties disable “allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” otherwise devices like usb keyboards and mice will stop working suddenly, one by one
