I just watched a clip of CBC News with the anchor openly and shamelessly say “We cannot use that word to describe what is happening” in response to genocide being used to describe what has happened in Gaza. The anchor instead describes the devastation as “whatever it is called”.

The way forward is the same as it’s always been - organize your neighborhood, your household, your workplace. Nobody is coming to save us except ourselves. Look out for one another.
