Pennsylvania’s Working Families Party is recruiting candidates to run against Pa.'s Democratic senator, John Fetterman.

The party is also pledging a robust ground game and fundraising to whoever a potential challenger they support may be.
Pennsylvania’s Working Families Party pledges to support a primary challenger against Sen. John Fetterman
“Senator Fetterman has sold us out, and that’s why the Pennsylvania Working Families Party is committed to recruiting and supporting a primary challenge to him in 2028," the group said.

We're primarying John Fetterman.

Last week, Fetterman again sold out working Pennsylvanians. He was the deciding vote for a Republican budget bill that will strip healthcare from over 400,000 Pennsylvanians.

We deserve real working class leadership in the Senate, not a Trump-enabling Democrat.

BREAKING: We won!

Today the 3rd Circuit Court ordered the @post-gazette.com to restore our contract it illegally tore up 5 years ago. That’s our health care, PTO, right to a 40-hr. work week, short-term disability and so much more we’ve struck for 3+ years.

Tonight, Senate Republicans — aided by eight Democrats — passed a funding bill that will raise healthcare premiums for millions of Americans and leave some families without health care at all.

Let's discuss.

This is a bad deal for Americans.

Voters turned out in record numbers last wk to elect Democrats believing they would fight for working families.

We urge Senate Dems to vote NO on the reported GOP budget package, which fails to address the devastating health care crisis.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Be like Zohran. Vote down the Working Families Party line if you're in New York (or Connecticut).

A vote on the Working Families ballot line (Row D) is a vote to tax the ultra-rich to invest in universal childcare, affordable housing, healthcare, and a city where working people win.

Update: Independent expenditures on retention are now at $8.6 million and counting, per the DoS system. The newest addition is approximately $3 million in spending by Commonwealth Partners, the Yass-linked dark money group, on TV, mail, digital and texting opposing the justices.
Update: Reported IE spending jumped to $5 million overnight because Citizens for Term Limits is now in the system. It's first and only report so far is for $1.8 million in TV, digital, mail and text advertising against retention dated to 9/16/25 from Matt Brouillette.
Update: As of ~2 p.m., there is now $2.8 million in reported independent expenditures on the Supreme Court retention elections. That's $1.2 million more since we first published. Much of it is digital ads from pro-retention groups.
