Journalists need to ask every single congressional rep they can talk to if they support the military being turned on citizens to get them on record. It’s only a matter of time and we need to hold them accountable to their answers now!

Everyone is talking about the housing crisis with “we need more homes” but I think we have enough? They just aren’t affordable and/or corporations own and rent them out??

This is… I am baffled. How? What kind of a fucking question for an adult to ask “why does it take so long to get from point A to B.” Have you never heard of mileage? Space between? He had no idea Texas was big! He LOOKED AT MAP MAYBE FOR THE FIRST TIME! I am…. This might be it for me.
In the course of an answer to a question about state budgets for disaster response and recovery, FEMA Acting Director Richardson said he just learned from his girlfriend (who has “huge red hair”) that Texas is bigger than Spain. He consulted a map to be sure.
