Scary Nights - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Hannah and Olivia are on a bench watching the night sky. The stars are out and the sky is beautiful but Olivia voices a concern. Olivia: It's kind of scary. Panel 2 Hannah looks out in the furthest reaches of space and takes it all in. She finds that she agrees with Olivia. Hannah: Yeah, Space is so vast and inhospitable. It's like our planet is surrounded by an endless void of death. Panel 3 Hannah looks over to Olivia who is starting to look terrified. It is at this point that Hannah realizes that Olivia probably wasn't thinking about space. Panel 4 Hannah acknowledges that she probably misread Olivia's concern. Now would probably be a good time to go inside. Hannah: You were talking about the dark. Olivia: Now I'm scared of two things.

We Wait - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Gustopher is floating in a nameless expanse with his arms stretched out and his eyes closed... Colors of blue, black, purple, and pink spark and shift all around him. He can do nothing here but wait. Gustopher: I am adrift in the realm between. Time is meaningless. Panel 2 Gustopher contemplates his situation further. Gustopher: How long has it been? Minutes? Years? Who knows... Panel 3 In reality, Gustopher is laying on the floor with his cat, Mewbert, comfortably lying on top of him. August is watching while holding a cup of something warm that probably has caffeine in it. He would be concerned but is well aware that he has done stuff like this when he was a kid. Panel 4 August decides to make sure that Gustopher is okay. August: You okay? Gustopher: Yeah, just waiting for my game to finish updating. Mewbert opens her eyes and notices that Nougat, the other cat, has seen that Gustopher is lying on the floor. Mewbert does not wish to relinquish this comfortable place to nap. Nougat wants a lap to nap on too. There will not be peace in this house tonight.

Banned Books - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Olivia and Gustopher are at the library. The Library is having a special event for books that have been banned in the past. Dora the librarian is stacking books with titles like "BOOK", "Boogers", "Tales", "Can you", "read this" and "Word". Olivia has a great interest in forbidden knowledge and has been browsing what's available. She's found a book called "Salt Box" and has an important question for the librarian. Olivia: Miss Librarian! Why was this book banned? Dora: Vulgar Language. Panel 2 Dora makes a shocked expression and holds her hands to her face. This is the only way she can express how depraved the book is. Dora: The word "butt" is used.... FIFTEEN TIMES! Panel 3 Dora looks down to the children to gather their reaction. Internally, Gustopher is wondering if Dora meant "but" with one "t" or "butt" with two. Olivia immediately assumes it's the latter. Behind them is a poster promoting banned books week. There is a cartoon book that's smiling and saying "I'm forbidden!" He's booky the banned book. He was specifically banned for being made using the darkest of magic. He's also kind of rude. Panel 4 Olivia is excited about the book. This leads Gustopher to assume that "butt" was indeed spelled with an extra "t". Olivia: Now I have to read it. Dora: Oh noooo... I'll help you check it out.

Gustopher: Have I wasted my youth? Panel 2 The world grows dark as Gustopher contemplates how little time any one individual actually has. The world is so full of beauty and wonder and there's so little time to truly appreciate it. Gustopher: The seasons change and so do I. If only I understood the value of days gone by. Battle for Control - Gator Days
Panel 1 Olivia and Polly are attempting to watch TV together but they're mostly arguing over the remote. Polly wants to watch anime and Olivia wants to watch anything but anime. Olivia: I don't want to watch your boring cartoons! Polly: It's called anime and- Mom is coming! Panel 2 The sisters instantly begin to act like perfect angels. They do not wish to burden their mother with their arguments. Penelope: Girls, I have to run to the store. Please be good. Olivia: Yes, Mama. Polly: Okay. She's probably off to get delicious treats for good daughters who don't destroy the living room in an hour long battle for control of the TV. Panel 3 Olivia and Polly wait patiently for their mother to leave. They are ready to act as soon as she is gonr. They watch the door carefully and hear it softly close. Panel 4 Olivia leaps into the air in an abrupt attempt to snatch away the remote. Polly takes a defensive position. Neither are willing to admit this, but this struggle is more fun than watching TV. Olivia: GIVE ME THE REMOTE! Polly: NEVER!

Panel 1 August is hard at working doing computer things when his boss comes in to check on him. Anticipation and dread fills August's head. The computer is attempting to install updates. Stuart: Hey, big guy! Done with the software updates? August: Almost. There's two computers left. Panel 2 Stuart glances at his phone which contains the message that's about to ruin August's day. Stuart: That's great. Really great. Panel 3 Stuart does his best to sound cheerful while delivering the news. The computer has encountered an error. The screen says "Soul not found. Installing soul." Stuart: Corporate wants new software so you need to replace it. August: Again? Do you know why? Panel 4 Stuart keeps the smile on his face and attempts to ease August's frustrations. The computer screen says "What is love? Am I loved? I'm so lonely." Stuart: To make things more efficient. August: All this efficiency keeps doubling my world load. Stuart: Exactly.

Grace is holding her moth toy, Mothleby, that she loves very very much. There is a sign on the slide in the background that says, "CAUTION! SLIDE IS TERRIBLE!" Ember: I GOT A SECRET TO TELL YOU! BUT I NEED TO GET RID OF BOLERO! Panel 2 Ember approaches Bolero to get rid of him. Ember: I WANT TO TELL GRACE A SECRET! GET OUT OF HERE! Panel 3 Bolero will not be intimidated. He stands his ground and refuses to leave. After all, this is the perfect spot for everyone to see his amazing new shirt. Bolero: No. I was here first. Ember: FINE! I'LL WHISPER! DON'T LISTEN! Panel 4 Ember doesn't know how to whisper. Ember: MY SECRET IS I'M PROUD OF BOLERO FOR STANDING UP FOR HIMSELF. Bolero: I can hear you.
