And that’s honestly not a bad thing - I don’t think it’s good for these kids to spend too much of their childhoods working! Six months or a year, and then going back to regular school schedules for a while, is probably better for them.

This is one of the weird uncomfortable part of having kids working (WORKING, it’s work!) on Broadway! It remains the case that shows with kids have standards for when a kid has “outgrown” a role. But “13” hired older teens to play young teens and their incentives to stay small were extra fucked.

And all the fundraisers running Giving Tuesday campaigns hate it too, but it WORKS. I do small-dollar digital fundraising for an org that I’m proud to work for, because the money I raise does some good in my city. I hate Giving Tuesday and yet it will be one of my three biggest days of 2025.

Thanks. It’s really sad, tbh, because he and I have historically been able to have really interesting conversations about our differing perspectives on politics. I’ve learned a lot from him and I think there have been times when I’ve pushed him to reconsider things too!

Yeah. I had avoided his twitter during the election season, we hadn’t talked about it at all and I haven’t seen him as frequently because he and his wife have a new baby. I don’t really know if/how I can help but it’s probably for the best that I at least know about what’s he’s posting I guess.

I don’t know if I actually trust this exit poll! The idea that talking to 712 Jewish voters means they can declare that only a third of us voted for Mamdani feels … suspicious?
Or maybe I’m just hoping that our people weren’t THAT susceptible to Islamophobic bullshit.

Earlier she had one that was light pink or maybe lavender - I think she brought a whole wardrobe of them!
