Surely one of them should be looking back on the track.

The food books: the feeling when you need food + what else are these books about?

The safe: prestigious award winning book this year.

Who does the little tree belong to? + clocks = Woman’s prize longlisted novel.

The calendar is very “say what you see” that’s ticked. Fiction from last year.

The holiday books: what’s the timeframe and what’s happening on the holidays? Fiction from a few years ago.

The blanket is a classic children’s picture book (literally what’s on the blanket). That dog (called ?) has very high hopes (old classic book). Laptop is a techy biography — what are ketchup and mustard otherwise known as?

The sea one is very “say what you see” and it’s an old Booker Prize winner. The hair one is nothing to do with hair but it’s a homophone preceded by what she’s doing with her hair. The white pjs could be any clothing and it’s about who’s wearing them.

Would you like any clues?

🥳

Thanks so much for your help.

Thanks, I finally got it. My problem was, I thought they were geese 😂

The only one I now can’t get is the black cat one. I’ve exhausted my knowledge of books about witches with black cats.

Any clues for the cat? I’ve exhausted my knowledge of books with witches and black cats!
November 14, 2025 at 10:08 AM
I spent far too long thinking they were geese!
November 14, 2025 at 10:05 AM
Definitely a 🤦🏻‍♀️ moment when I got it. I read and loved that book, too.

Thanks ☺️

I’m still tearing my hair out! Eventually gave up late last night with 15/20. Would you mind giving me some clues for the laptop, witches cat, hanging birds, seas, and hair ones, please?
November 14, 2025 at 7:40 AM
I’m still stuck on that one. Would you give me a clue, please?

Good morning, BBB. Gosh how these weeks do fly. How did you get on with Legends and Lattes?

This week I’m reading Charmed Life by Diana Wynne Jones and Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton.

I’ll be listening to James by Percival Everett and Big Swiss by Jen Beagin.
