LA editor here! I'm in the PLEASE come, don't move it elsewhere camp. LA is going to have a pretty tough time economy-wise after this, and a mass exodus of tourism/large events will only hurt us more. It's a complex topic with a ton of nuance, but as a local, I want folks to show up.

I did this when I was 17 (jiggled a doorhandle for 2min before I saw a blanket in the back that was NOT mine), and I still think about it well over a decade later. I STILL do this when someone else is giving me a ride, I think I'm at their car and try a B&E. I have car blindness. I am with you.
