This week's Unbound (べらぼう〜蔦重栄華乃夢噺〜) was simply stunning. The writer cleverly blended different historical accounts, creative hypotheses and suspense elements, and the outstanding performance from the cast alone with the excellent direction, really made it a breathtaking episode.

I'm not big on action films, but I had a great time watching David Leitch's new action comedy film: The Fall Guy. Will buy the UHD Blu-ray for sure. On the fence due to blood? Worry not. Despite same director, unlike Bullet Train, The Fall Guy has very limited blood. It's PG-13.

I'm usually not a TV series person. But I'm really looking forward to the new Japanese period series, Dear Radiance (original title: 光る君へ). The story is about legendary novelist Murasaki Shikibu. And I'm glad one of our local streaming platform finally gained the streaming rights.

Just watched Kristoffer Borgli’s DREAM SCENARIO (starring Nicolas Cage). It’s quite a fascinating dark comedy film. It’s not just a commentary on the society, it also points out that the protagonist does also have some responsibilities for what happen to him. Very interesting.
