This is horrible. Family reunification is already strict, whether you're a refugee or a non-eea national. Even Irish citizens waiting to be reunited w/ spouses or parents face absurd wait times & intrusive visa applications. Commitments to family? Article 41 of the constittuion anyone...

This is so incredibly important. In November 2024 I had a misscarriage at almost 12 weeks. I have a very understanding employer but many do not. A woman and her partner will be going through physical, emotional, and mental agony. We need statutory time off to heal.
