a featured guest who can’t get it right after practicing is pretty sad. I don’t think she meant to offend, but a respectful introduction isn’t that hard. And it’s disrespectful not just to Audrey but also all the trans and non-binary attendees in the audience.

Yeah a trans person saying whatever is very different from a cis person repeatedly stumbling over a person’s gender and then in a frustrated and exasperated tone saying “whatever” as they give up getting it right.
