Hi everyone!
I am Raghav Arora (sometimes "aurora"), an MS ECE grad student at UT Austin. I am studying and learning Machine Learning and its applications to Robotics.
Previously, I worked at Robotics Research Center, IIITH where we researched how robots could reason and plan in an unknown home.

I recently decided to paint my dear plants with my favourite movie characters.

After having sent around 20 postcards to strangers on @postcrossing.com (& other), I am surprised that many people don't like self-made personalized cards and prefer printed ones.

I can never understand this! In what world is a mass-produced postcard more liked than a personalized card?

Every once in a while, I install Instagram to share something with friends.

Being away from it, hits how insanely addictive the reels are.

It's almost like frog in boiling water effect where using it daily makes you accustomed without realising the effects it has on the health.

Sometimes I create calendar events for trivial reminder tasks for myself (like cooking, or watering the plants).
At this point, I'm basically Google's unpaid data entry clerk.

Looking at stars, and just the night sky is one task that makes me extremely happy.

The Austin Public Library organized this event of stargazing for sxsw, and I'm glad I could attend!

While waiting for my model to finish training, I watched inside out 2, and decided to paint my pot with joy...

The idea of anxiety taking over your body and changing your sense of "self" from "I'm a good person" to "I'm not good enough", hit really close to home.
