Came here to escape the toXic cesspool. Trying to adjust to a new dystopian reality. I will not go gently into that good night. I will rage, rage against the dying of the light.

It's been brought to my attention that if we'll all repost the cartoon with her article's name and substack info below it, Ann Tienaes can better benefit with more clicks.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

“Most Senate Republicans will vote to confirm all of Trump’s personnel choices. But a fluid group of four GOP no votes, depending on the nominee and added to the Democratic opposition, could block those with the most potential to cause havoc or tragedy.”
Each day the damning information mounts about one Trump pick or another, with more reasons for various senators to vote against them. There's no need to anticipate disappointment. There will be plenty of time for that. My latest at @thebulwark.bsky.social www.thebulwark.com/p/senate-rep...

It is clear from his interview today that Trump is going to expect Bondi and Patel to investigate and prosecute his political opponents. Three questions:

How will the media cover?
What will pro-democracy leaders and orgs do?
Most important: Who will stand up and who will obey?

I actually LOL’d when I read this reply. 😂

I have no space in my life for people/bots coming to the defense of billionaire oligarchs.

I notice a lot of the bots on here post “respectfully disagree” replies.

Seems the Putin/Musk army is waging a more surreptitious active measure campaign on 🦋. FYI

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!
