The ICC is the League of Nations. Netanyahu is under indictment, so is Putin. Toothless organization unless nations co-operate to arrest them . It would be wild to see a Rome statute country arrest them or Trump if he were to fall under indictment. Not gonna happen in my lifetime

American is an unreliable nation, alliances with them cannot be relied on to be honored. Trump doesn’t honor anything unless there is gain for him. NATO and the Asian countries better wise up to this real quick, develop plans and force levels to fight without America.

You would think. One gets the feeling the courts are going to be busy with this kind of conduct from the DOJ and are not looking forward to it.

If you want Economics History, there is always Niall Ferguson, he has written extensively on European Economic and other History. I have read quite a bit of his work, some I agree with, some I differ in opinion. But it is very thoughtful, enlightening and well researched.

Cry me a river, US free speech rights end at their borders. Once you cross into a new jurisdiction, rights are whatever the sovereign’s law says they are. End of story. Explaining it so digital providers could understand, if you do not consent to their terms of service, you cannot enter their site.
