Is the deal linked to lower council tax uplifts? And if yes on point 1, what happened to the Lib Dem deal @alex.scotlibdems.org.uk???

If the contract with 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 citizens re #NHS reform is “longer, healthier, fulfilling lives” & we need “whole system thinking” @johnswinney.bsky.social, let’s look at how PEOPLE get the support they need re that contract. NHSS is one part of this when citizens are patients, but not their full picture.

A vision of ‘longer, healthier and fulfilling lives’ for the NHS. Add ‘independent’ and perhaps we could have a joined up vision for health & social care given any sense of a genuine #NCS reform package now seems pretty thin.

So @hmtreasury.bsky.social completely misunderstands how contemporary not for profit social care providers funded and what they do. Public service orgs mostly commissioned with public ££s. Hence terrible consequence of eNIC policy not factored in. Totally counterproductive. @ccpscotland.bsky.social

Today @scotparliament.bsky.social MSPs are debating the impact of NI changes on public services. Language matters. @ccpscotland.bsky.social NfP social care providers deliver public services. They are not classed as the ‘public sector’ but 100% need to be inc in the NI exemption. bit.ly/40WGv1t
