The loom has been threaded and sitting unused for too long. I cut up some bedsheets in coordinating colors and got to weaving.

Watching Game Changer gave me an excuse to spend time on my crochet project.

When I wake up and hear @bradkleinnews.bsky.social say that the weather will be perfect, that is my cue to finally wash and dry my handwoven rag rugs.

A conversation about Rogue-like games gave me the urge to find an emulator and play Rogue. I found this scroll entertaining. What do you think it does?

The rain stopped and the sun came out. We played disc golf and blamed every poor shot on the wind.

Got into an elevator yesterday to find a tiny plastic Jesus sitting on the handrail. I gave Him a respectful nod and thought,”He has risen indeed.” Unfortunately the elevator only goes up 4 floors.

The loom is ready. Does anyone need a small rag rug?

While I took this photo to share my putting practice with the kid, I am so annoyed at the damage the deer have done to my bushes.

I have about 200 knots to tie and the Critical Role campaign 3 final episode for entertainment. Which will finish first?

Not comfortable calling, I wrote postcards to send to Washington DC. Thank you @kristineschomaker.bsky.social for inspiring me to get my thoughts out on both sides of the card.

I don’t have as scenic a view. Last night’s dusting of snow has melted. Instead I’m annoyed at how the deer have grazed on my shrubbery.

I knew we’ve been playing disc golf for a long time. This scorecard was found in a box labeled 1997. We were definitely playing with catch discs, and my scores have not improved much since then.

I find hope in the thought that someone chose to turn regular bubble wrap into little hearts.

This is my second sub-par loaf in a row, but I also messed up the ingredients both times.

The finished hat is child-sized, so it goes into my bin of completed projects looking for a home. I’m trying again with more scrap yarn, a larger hook size, and closer viewing of the video that came with the pattern.

Another spotting of the town’s herd of deer while out for my walk yesterday. I saw a red tailed hawk as well but wasn’t close enough for a photo.

The town herd of 5 deer were grazing in the hollow off the trolley trail. Looking for them is a bright point to exercising.

When I started this crochet pattern over a year ago, I thought it was cute. Then it sat in a bag for 10 months. I didn’t realize how much I hated magic circles. I’m making myself finish this, two pieces a night, so I can move on. 🧶

I had some time to myself today and spent it trying a recipe for fudgy chocolate almond cookies.

Finished up my rigid heddle weaving project, from thread to dishcloths. 🧶

Because I got a $24 craft kit for $1 at a yard sale, I’m now leaning paper quilling. 🧶

Playing disc golf this time of year may be hot but it has benefits.
