I haven’t spent a penny at Target in the past year. I thought giving it up would be hard, but I really don’t miss it. I had already stopped shopping at Amazon.
I needed less mindless consumption my life anyway.

I am already browsing itineraries on the airline app.

Sometimes even pretty expensive hotels will offer the rate if they want govt business.

The flip side is that they don’t have to offer it consistently, so if you’re traveling when there’s a big event in town, finding a room at the govt rate can be really hard.

I obviously have no knowledge about this particular situation or hotel, but hotels can decide whether to offer the government rate or not. I’ve stayed at some surprisingly nice hotels while traveling for work because the hotel offered the rate.

The ones I hate *claim* to have online scheduling, but actually you fill out an online form and then a scheduler will (maybe) call you.

If I wanted to talk to someone on the phone to make my appointment, I’d just call myself!
