Just very generally speaking, is post-punk the kind of music whose practitioners do their best to pretend that your opinion about them really does not matter to them, they don't care and everybody are anyway going to die, when more of the opposite is true; but caring too much in a world that’s […]

Wonder if a witnessed transparency log (the likes of https://transparency.dev/) can be used effectively for creating and verifying provable timestamps, the use case being "i have this file, hash it, log that over there, and then somebody else can trust that this file existed at time T"

#pressfrihet

City of Munich offers support for a "open source sabbatical", open to their employees and possibly external (citizens?) as well. sounds pretty cool https://opensource.muenchen.de/sabbatical.html

End-to-end encrypted and autenticated communication channel between humans is necessary to prevent silencing or censoring of free speech. If you want to break or in any way interfere with these encrypted channels, tubes, or what you call them, then you're tolerating silencing of free speech.

#tmux is a fantastic piece. the only slightly boring thing is that i cannot have different font sizes in each pane... i sometimes forget it's still a *terminal* desktop environment

Anyone on the fediverse tracking the #iran internet blackout? Are there ways people there are taking to get reconnected through other routes? What about #lora? is there any maps that show nodes that are connected to the general internet in the region though Meshtastic or similar?
