I did not enjoy "One Battle After Another" at all. I do not understand its 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I would like my 3 hours back.

What is the best app/self-guided method to learn to play piano?

My husband bought a Casio keyboard for Xmas. We want to learn to play. I took lessons for 3 years as a kid. I don’t remember much. He was an accomplished trumpet player in high school band, orchestra, and jazz quartet.

The daylight gain today is modest—just 3 seconds. The expansion will accelerate to a maximum daily gain of 5 minutes 19 seconds on the spring equinox in March.

Reusable bag tags for checked bags should be an industry-wide aviation practice.

SAS is killing its reusable checked bag tag program on January 1, 2026. It only offered it to people who achieved “conscious traveler” status, which I just got in November. (I had to buy the biofuel surcharge on […]

Bowen Yang’s final sketch on SNL was so perfect. He quickly became one of my favorite cast members. Going to miss his many characters!

I wonder who will be the next openly gay man in the cast…

I was wondering why `fnm` was recommended as a way to install @nodejs instead of `volta`. Volta has been around longer, is also cross platform, is also written in Rust, and automatically uses the version specified in a project’s `package.json`.

Then I learned `volta` is now unmaintained and the […]
