A BBC team has finally entered Gaza embedded in within the Israeli army (as other international media). They film for their first time the destruction of Gaza but their cold description of “the war” is as if this is what normally happens in such asymmetric “wars”. And it is not.

Very similar to the “juego del palo” (in Spanish) or “banot” (in amazigh) from the Canary Islands, whose origin in the ancient aboriginal culture (before 16th c.) is well documented. I wonder whether there was a transmission here, given the strong 🇵🇹 presence in the Canaries in 16th-17th centuries.
