Only because you knew what it was. Most people would not have a clue who the voices were or what episode it was from. A x

This podcast is always so great. Restores sanity to a bonkers world. Thanks to all the team 🙏🏼 xxx

Tbh, I don't think this is controversial. If I recall my (admitedly Greek Orthodox) upbringing, important things happen when "two or three gather in [His] name" and much of it is explicitly about community, fellowship, and the breaking of bread. A x

PS I love you for listening and for engaging.

I accept we have a blind spot as non-religious people, but your critique is not fair. Here's the transcript. The singing is about watching football. Church is not "reduced" to gossip. All N is saying is that "often" people revelled in "a moment of congregation" and *maybe* a gossip and a cuppa. 1/2

Listening right now, excellent piece on the moral panic around prisons.
About time we had a reasoned view on the reports we have been seeing this last week. Thank you.

I found a great moment of connection in someone on that side of politics experiencing the same thing I have with many progressive leaders I thought would be great and ended up holding on to the idea they'd "grow into it" or "find their feet" for far too long after it became clear they would not. Good idea in practice, too. A x

I couldn't count the times I have said precisely the opposite on the show, identifying it as the fundamental problem with UK economic policy for decades. A x
