How does transphobia manifest in a faith group - the #Quaker community - that values equality and compassion? I've tried to explore this topic in my latest post.
What Sex Matters to Quakers can teach us about transphobic hate in a religious context
If you go on X, one of many accounts you’ll find screaming into the void about trans people is operated by Sex Matters to Quakers.

I wrote a review of Finn Mackay's book Female Masculinities and the Gender Wars.

I thought it was an interesting read as a transmasculine person, though I had my critiques!

Tried out Fable, which is another Goodreads competitor like StoryGraph. I'm not sure if I like it: it has more content, sure, but most of it is imported from Goodreads and I can't find most of the books that I've read that StoryGraph has on it.

I wrote a quick review of Body Problems by M. Wolff on StoryGraph: app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/3865...

This is a good book with interesting storytelling that deserves a proper review. Which I will get to on my blog at some point! #BookSky #FaithfullyLGBT

I wrote a short review of The Book of Queer Prophets on StoryGraph. It's an anthology that really suffers from the weight of its title and the fact that its contributions were solicited. #FaithfullyLGBT

For too long the world of theological magazines and leaflets has been utterly dominated by slick corporate mass produced hatred.

It's time for inclusive Christians to lean into the long Queer history of underground printing, zine making, resource sharing, and other such physical tangible activism.
To coincide with Leicester Pride this year we're debuting a new project: 'Communion: A Queer Christian Zine', created with an ethos of grassroots organising and radical sharing, with the finished product being freely available for anyone to print and distribute among their own communities.

I reviewed Berit Brogaard's book Hatred: Understanding our Most Dangerous Emotion. It claims to be against hating groups while simultaneously presenting a group of people with 'dark personalities' to be the cause of all hatred. A very strange book. quietfaithloudopinions.com/posts/hatred...
Book review: Hatred by Berit Brogaard
In her 2020 book Hatred: Understanding our Most Dangerous Emotion, Berit Brogaard presents a complex but not comprehensive analysis of the emotion of hatred.
