Haven't posted in a while, I think it's been a pretty massive burn-out streak that hasn't been good to my productivity.

One of the best things about being an artist and a DM is that I get to have fun spamming character designs and my players have some visual reference for what I'm describing.

I'm honored to say Liatail made it to 2nd place, while Walpritee sadly couldn't make it to top 50. I think I need to push the fantastical elements more.

A Pokedex page for the Fakemon "Liatail" shows a menacing-looking shark-like creature with a broad tail that mimics a much larger predator. to its left is a golden and silver shiny coloring for it. It's listed as the "deceitful fish Pokémon" and is a Water and Dark type with a stat spread focused heavily on Attack and Speed while leaving it quite frail. Its abilities are Armor Tail and a new, fake ability: False Face, which heightens the Liatails evasiveness 30% until it is hit for the first time in a battle. Its hidden ability is Intimidate. It's Pokedex entry reads: "It shakes its tail to make other Pokémon believe it's a separate, imposing threat. Then, it strikes by turning its real head around swiftly. Once Liatail's ruse is discovered, it looks for an opportunity to dart away." A Pokedex page for the Fakemon "Walpritee" shows a fluffy mammalian creature that is applying a pink pigment to its cheeks. Beside it is a pastel-colored Shiny palette for it. It's listed as "The Beautician Pokémon" and is a Normal and Fairy type. It has a fairly even stat distribution except for an extremely low attack stat. Its abilities are Pastel Veil and Dazzling, while it has a new, fake hidden ability called "Skin Care". This hidden ability gives the Pokémon a 50% chance of clearing the Burned condition from itself or an ally on the field with it and also negates the damage buff Fire type moves receive in sunny weather. Its Pokedex entry reads: "In ancient folktales, it's said the very first Walpritee painted the distinctive patterns and markings of all other Pokémon. It uses clay, dirt, and flowers expertly to produce all manner of pigments and ointments."

A Pokedex screen shows "Vangalago", a Fakemon that looks like an upright Lemur wearing a hoodie and lifting up one long-fingered hand. It has a snobbish attitude to it and four of its fingers are dripping with black, magenta, cyan, and yellow pigments respectively. It's said to be the "Toxic Lemur Pokémon", a Normal and Poison Type that evolves from Grafaiai. It has a 540 base stat total distributed mostly to its Attack and Speed stats, has the abilities Unburden and Poison touch as well as Prankster as its hidden ability. It's PokéDex entry reads: "Through arduous practice, Vangalago learned to produce an entire spectrum of pigments and honed its artistry. It's rather prideful of its achievements."

An old (2022) #Fakemon line that's a redesign of an even older (2015) one haha. I know we have the big fella Buzzwole, but I had the idea of an "evil devil mosquito" for so long I wanted to give it a go.

This version includes a Bulbapedia-style base stat distribution chart, boasting 50 HP, 120 Attack, 40 Defense, 90 Special Attack, 55 Special Defense, and 145 Speed for a total of 500. The sheet also includes Shiny forms which shift the reds and yellows to blue and cyan while the teal of the original palette turns red.

A "Mosasaurus Mermaid" lifts up a fluffy Tyrannosaurus as though she were doing squats. The composition is divided half underwater and half above the surface of the ocean. The mermaid herself looks buff and has green hair and a military green, striped pattern to her body. A sulking "Sailfish Mermaid" hangs upside down from a dock. She is pouting with her arms crossed. Her pattern is based on real sailfish, if a tad more saturated colors (white belly, bordered by a yellow and black stripe before a blue back and purple fins). The 'sword' portion of the fish's snout is a unicorn-like horn on the mermaid's forehead. A "Bichir Mermaid" stares back menacingly at the viewer as it carries a skull and a bone in its hands in a murky lake. The dark, maroon, grey, and washed out oranges of her pattern resemble the ones on the Marbled Bichir fish species. A "Banggai Cardinalfish Mermaid" poses for the viewer apparently from within a home aquarium. Her grey and black pattern with dashes of white spots and stripes are inspired by the real fish species' colors down to the puffy hair on the mermaid's head.

Oh hey! Lots of people liked my previous #Fakemon predictions for PLZA post! Gained some followers too so welcome all! These here are the last 3 regional evolutions / form I made so far!

Noiwyrm, a proposed regional evolution for Noivern. It "lost" most of its hind legs in favor of larger wings and its patterns resemble a whole "surround sound system" compared to Noivern's two "stereo" ears. Bigalon, a proposed regional evolution for Bibarel. It gaines some blew patterns, a more active pose and its beaver tail now inflates into a balloon or barrel-like structure to store water for its attacks. A regional variant for Dragapult, now DRAGON / WATER type. It's firstly based on a living, prehistoric version of the original, (Thus the real prehistoric amphibian Diplocaulus and some elements from natural aquatic creatures such as dorsal and caudal fins and interdigit webbing). Its head is now inspired by an older, WWII bomber rather than newer stealth bombers from the original.

Time for another batch of #Fakemon predictions for Pokémon Legends AZ! This time it's a few regional evolutions for existing 'mons~

"Chevalion" a proposed evolution for a regional Mudbray. It looks like a sort of 'Trojan Horse' with regal, champion motifs and is a Normal / Fighting type. "Beatyena" shown as a proposed evolution of Mightyena. It keeps the official Pokémon's color palette and type but looks more muscular and imposing, with a sort-of werewolf posture and longer fur. "Luvtale" is shown as a proposed evolution to Luvdisc. Its basic heart shape is given more distinct fins and makeup-like markings as well as long ribbon tails. It's also shown with a distinct male and female form. It's a Water / Fairy type. "Sherpam" is shown as a proposed Gogoat evolution. It has longer horns and a bushier, well, bush-fur. It appears to have a patch of snow growing on its back and into a beard and its hooves have sharp spikes for mountain climbing. It is a Grass / Ice type.
