It's true. I live in Alabama and it's like living in an alternate country. I just finished listening to Naomi Klein's book Doppelganger. I really appreciate her putting to words some of my similar observations (minus the rigorous research she has done to flesh out her own ideas).

Governors should be very proactive about protecting their states, for sure. It's weird to think that the very people cheering on ICE and troops in the streets also think they are the heroes in stories like Red Dawn.

I understand that. The double standards in this country are so obscene.

I am really surprised there haven't been shootings of masked ICE persons. In Stand Your Ground states, it should be perfectly legal since ICE wear masks and present no identification. It's perfectly reasonable (in the US) to protect oneself from a masked attacker.

And if you don't have good local cafés, buy an exceptional quality coffee and make your own at home. Just remember: coffee isn't like tea; for excellent taste it needs to be freshly roasted and ground.

I suggest going to whatever café is local to your area. Unless you are in Seattle. Then go to whatever café is local to your area minus Starbucks ✌️

I AM 💯 100% 💯 all for getting rid of insurance companies though! And I'm glad he called them out. Now if only he could connect the dots... About the reason why "Obamacare" works with insurance companies at all... He couldn't connect dots though, even if the lines were pre-drawn 💀
