and if u read (unofficially translated) webnovels a lot u should know that it’s hard to find someone who actually knows the language and isn’t just dumping shit into a MTL and cleaning it up. And I don’t blame ppl because translating is a lot of work&time!!!

exploiting the fact that they have love and passion for this to probably underpay them and then throw them under the bus when ppl start giving negative reviews for things u should’ve caught

so it sucks to see them throw a TL team under the bus for something that should’ve been the company’s responsibility anyway on top of the rumors of u already under-paying your contractors

Idk it’s a lot and just like, so disappointing esp w everything else I’ve heard/seen. I WANT to support smaller pubs, & I think everyone in the danmei space especially feel strongly about wanting to see quality eng officials on the market

They also originally had the same ppl who did the (well very liked) FTL to do the official and even when we take into account how ppl would prob have lower standards for a FTL, I’ve never heard of any complaints like this for the FTL

like the book doesn’t go straight from the TLer to being printed. I saw negative reviews about sentence structure and typos and that seems more on whoever is checking oher the writing and not the TL team….

when the other actor side character bumped into him and there was a panel that showed the actor’s lower half first and I was like….oh it’s because he had to look up….and then I realized 😭 he’s not that short….right

not only him but some other characters too 😭😭😭 he’s only 5’9” he’s not that short!!!!
