Lol, we would end up with a mishappen tree. The big holes were filled with other branches we put on the tree by drilling a hole for the branch! Our cats always took these trees as a challenge. We would generally have to tie the tree to the wall. Everyday we had to put things back on the tree.

The other big issue is the size of the tree. I love a big tree. Again a compromise is made. I'll accept whatever size, albeit I'll be trying for something about 6 to 7 feet high. It will be a real tree. From the farm. And it will be fun picking it out!

We will put a tree up around December 15. It's a compromise. One family member wouldn't have any tree. So I get a tree until after New Year's. I will take it!
