Coco is very alert. She just completed a very long walk around the farm! Happy puppy.

At least the Blue Bombers are taking this well.

I'm leaving Coco. That's always hard. Only for ten days and you'll be in good company with Ken! And visits with Patches, Mary, Corey J Stone and Stephen.

Off to #Rio de Janeiro to meet up with so many good friends, with Chip Landia. Will arrive there Wednesday morning!

We hired a new bartender for our Departure Lounge, here on the farm. The bartender is an alien as Fuzzy points out.

We also had another alien visit!

A crisp fall morning here in the #LanarkHighlands.

Coco will have to get up earlier tomorrow. These Turkeys were taking some liberties they wouldn't dare try if she was here!

This has been my toaster for the last 30 years. It still works.

The Bluejay, and the Chipmunk should be friends.

Beautiful morning here on the farm. Wild turkeys, Mom and young ones choosing to claim an area they dare not venture into if Coco wasn't sleeping.

Brazen behaviour!

I'm seeing this from the front porch. If I stand up to get a better view, they scatter quickly.

Last evening we were out for dinner at Sylvania Lodge on Dalhousie Lake, when I saw these folks heading out onto the lake.

I need to do this!

This is one reason I love living on our farm. It's unique in so many ways. An off the grid home, set atop a hill, amongst the Maple and Cedar trees.

I call the house the tower. From my bedroom on the third floor, my view is of trees going on forever. The night sky is full of stars.

Harvesting all of our basil yesterday was a wise move.

We now have pesto for a good part of the winter. A win for outside!

Looks like fall is moving in quickly...

Frost advisory for our farm. Looks like I'm making pesto today.

The American Ambassador to Canada finds the anti-american sentiment in Canada undeserved.

He acts like it was Canada that started this trade war. Of course he's upset, Canadians call it a trade war.

Canadians will never trust the US Gov't as one does a good friend, ever again.

Your photos are much more clear than mine. These taken this morning on our old farm in the Lanark Highlands in Ontario

I've been in BC for a visit with family in Kelowna and Delta. Two family members standout. Especially as I miss Coco.

Maggie who is two, and Nomi who is almost eight.

Visiting my Mom in the Okanagan. She has a pear tree so we were peeling pears for canning. I'm gonna need another badge to fly back to Ontario with!

Cookies and pears filling my suitcase.

Mom is 85 and she never really stops. She did let me cook dinner last night. I love my Mom!

I'm at our postage stamp sized front yard in Toronto's Cabbagetown for a few days. I've had two visitors this morning, first a raccoon that startled itself when it stepped on my foot, and now the Squirrel.

The raccoon looked at me like what the heck, man, get out of my way.

Good morning from me, Coco is still sleeping.

Chicken Pot pie. A comfort food that happens whenever I have left-over chicken. Used potatoes, carrots and celery from our garden, along with a butter pie crust.

This served four people. Just enough.
