I get it. It's hard for some folks to come to terms w/ how the institutions that are supposed to protect our rights, to be the firewall, are...not that. The sooner we abandon the idea that America is somehow "exceptional" in its ability to be fascist-resistant, we can be honest about what we face.

It looks amazing. The only reason I haven't watched it is fear of being wrecked emotionally bc animal dramas tend to hit hard.

/2 This is specifically in response to folks acting like he is either 1)a selfless savior, 2)a z!onìest sell-out performer. Reality is usually more murky than hero v villain. When we don't treat it as such we set our movements up for disaster.Non-hierarchical communities don't have main characters.
