A lot of what makes the later seasons great is in its infancy. I dont think its an exaggeration to say Nana Visitor carries the first season at a few different points

Movies are the only thing that makes enough money to fund something as ambitious as Avatar, but the story just seems incredibly ill-suited to the theater. This would make so much more sense as a Stranger Things-style streaming series that puts out 8-10 hours of stories every few years.
