The 2025 #QueerEast opening night film will be the UK premiere of Takeshi Kitano’s historical samurai epic, Kubi, screening on Wed 23 April at BFI Southbank. What a year it has been! 2024 marked the fifth anniversary of #QueerEast, during which we hosted 117 events and welcomed over 10,000 audience members from across the country. Thank you to everyone for being part of our story. Stay tuned for more to come in 2025.
