Almost halfway through The Committed and I’m not sure how I feel about it. The Sympathizer was so good that I may have unrealistic expectations. The sequel feels more repetitive and I’m not into it as much. We’ll see once I finish it…

The performances of Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey, and Jason Schwartzman are all amazing in Queer. Craig shows a desperate and obsessive middle aged man. Felt like a career best from him. Starkey looked like fine wine in the film and I totally understood why Craig was obsessed with him.

Wonderful memoir by Eve Babitz that took me to a different place and time. A very cool girl type writer but love her all the more for it.

Also! How could there be munchkins but not have the munchkins be actually short? Look at the difference! The movie tries to emphasize that the ginger dude is short but like ???
