I had a 2010 MacBook Air in a cupboard in my office. I was still using it up until a couple of years ago, and the hardware is still good. My kid needs a machine for homework, so I put Linux on it and it actually feels fast again. He loves it!

I don’t really talk about being trans much on this account. I have an alt where I talk about it a lot more.
It’s a big part of who I am though. I might be more open here. I also feel like I should put something on my blog about coming out and transitioning, but it’s a lot, especially right now.

I got my ears pierced. Just the lobes (my first piercings, very vanilla). The technician described the pain as “spicy”. Then she described the other ear as “spicier”. Apparently it’s an adrenaline thing. Anyway, a minor victory in an otherwise fucking appalling week but I’m still chalking it up.

When I was taking my first tentative steps in my transition, the lovely staff in my local Lush always noticed and supported me with kind words and compliments. They have a special place in my heart. Also their bubble-bars are awesome.
